***AFTERNOON SESSION - Monday 12th July***

Throughout the month of July we will be focussing on nature and plantlife in our kids eco-workshops.

Planet & People are hosting monthly Planet Action Workshops for children (Mondays) where we will be exploring a different environmental theme. Each workshop will be based around the Planet Action Kit for the month. We are an evironmentalist and teacher team passionate about the natural world and very much looking forward to spending time inspiring others to protect our fragile Earth and get excited about all that's in it!

The Planet Action Workshop series uses our LOVE (Learn, Observe, inVolve and Explore) the Earth structure, where we have developed a programme of activities each month. 

In July's Planet Action Kit and workshops we will explore these ideas:

Learn – Plant stories that give the 'wow' factor! Learn about mangroves

Observe – Roll the dice in our plant finding game

Involve – Intergenerational plant-spotting walk

Explore – Creative gardening in miniature

Logistics:

* Where? 

Farleigh Ecohub (dedicated outdoor learning areas on smallholding in a beautiful rural setting) EX16 8HR

* Facilities?

Hot drinks and parents area, rustic seating, mud kitchen, digging mound, kids ride on tractors etc

* When? 

10-11am+ (our sessions may run on a little) on a Monday morning, first four weeks per month.

* Who for? 

Mixed groups of children aged 4-11yrs, home educators who are keen for support in learning about how to protect the environment.

* How much? 

£30 which includes a Planet Action Kit (our eco activity box) and a 3 hour session to get connected with the natural environment.

* Who will look after my kids? 

Bethia is a qualified teacher, Jess is a biology graduate and dedicated environmentalist. We are experienced in leading groups. This accompanied for the first session - we love for home-ed parents to get involved too! If after the first session you are happy for your child to be unaccompanied at your session, we will be happy to discuss this option with you.

There are four seperate opportunities to attend on each Monday in the month and there are also Saturday sessions to keep an eye out for!
